Had Tommy come to check out my central units to discover that they needed to be replace. So I did the air and heat. Very happy with the installation, professionalism, customer service and comparison of pricing.

Tommy Nygaard is truly an angel. He came to our rescue tonight! Our heater had unexpectedly stopped working in the middle of this cold snowy weather we've been having. I honestly did not think anyone would have came out so soon but Tommy returned my call instantly and came out the same day. He was very professional, listened to my concerns, and let us know he was on the way. He followed all of the Covid-19 guidelines and wore a mask. We bought our house new in 2016 and have yet to have our A/C unit inspected/serviced. We heard about Nygaard Heating and Air and thought we’d give them a call and have them come take a look. We scheduled an appointment (same day) and Mr Nygaard arrived right on schedule, was very professional and informative. He serviced our a/c unit (full inspection and clean) in a timely manner. Nygaard came to tune up my A/C unit in preparation for the summer months. Very professional and showed up on time (with none of that 5-hour window BS I might add). Knowledgeable and professional throughout the appointment. This is my first home, so I tend to ask about a lot and he replied to all of my questions, comments, and concerns both before and during the appointment with a very friendly manner. 10/10 would recommend and will be using his services in the future! BONUS: He actually fixed my front door jamb too! Not technically a part of his business, but it was busted and he really helped me out big time!

We purchased units in July for both our air and heat. We were very happy with the installation, professionalism, and customer service. Today (7 months later)our downstairs heater wasn't working. I called and immediately got a response and the problem fixed. Our problem had nothing to do with the units installed but was a power surge issue at our home. I have been using Nygaard for several years and have always been pleased with their service. I had two brand new complete HVAC units installed by Tommy in January. After getting many estimates over the last few months Tommy came in with a great estimate that was the same or lower than the others. But the cost was not why I chose Tommy; it was his personality. When I met him I could tell right away he was an honest and reasonable person. Call it intuition. He explained everything I needed to know about getting my two units installed and patiently answered all of my questions. After meeting with other HVAC professionals and then meeting Tommy I knew for sure he was the guy to do business with. He and his crew completely installed both units in about 6 hours. That includes the blower/heater units upstairs in the attic and the two units outside. He serviced both with Freon but told me he would have to come back when it was warmer to finish the freon charge so that it was serviced correctly. He came back about two weeks ago and finished the service. Then last week he called and told me that when he serviced the freon his tooling was out of calibration and he wants to come out again and double check the freon charge. I was impressed because of this. Any other HVAC Tech could of not even called me and told me that, but he did! All transactions with him went smoothly from the estimate to the install and after the install. I feel he is there "for me" if anything else was to happen to my units. He found the outside unit was no longer operable/fixable. We went ahead and ordered an HVAC system as the furnace was pretty dated, too. He made the entire process so easy and answered every question we had. Not only was Tom a pleasure to work with, but his crew (I regret not getting their names) only mirrored the same feeling we got from out first meeting with Tom. They completed the work in the timespan we were given, even under in part of it and were so respectful. While they were here, a family member even had a flat tire and they helped her with changing it and finding her a new one. Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to cover it with this company.

Yesterday, on one of the hottest days of the year, the capacitor on our AC unit decided to go out and our house climbed to 86° 🥵 I contacted Nygaard Heating and Air Conditioning this morning and he was at our house within the hour and got us all fixed up. 🙌🏼 We are so appreciative!

Our unit went out Feb 8 and they were here Saturday Feb 11 and had the old one out and new one in-in 4 hours! The house had cooled down considerably since Monday and is now at a great 70degree temperature. It was 52 inside when they arrived. They were courteous and kept it pretty clean as they worked. This past week, my AC decided to quit, sprang a leak, and Nygaard came out, fixed my AC,and stopped the leak in record time. Excellent Service! Very friendly! Checked all my units from top to bottom. Also let me 18 month year old son hold a couple of his tools he wasn’t using at that time and he loved it. Don’t make a mistake, call Tommy if you have an issue and he will be upfront and honest from the start.

Tommy showed up on a Sunday. Had our air back on quickly. He repaired the problem, cleaned both of our units and filled the units with Freon. He was so nice and we really appreciated it. We will be using his company for all of our heating and air needs in the future.

We are so happy to have found Nygaard! He came on a Saturday and found that a town wide power surge caused the air to slowdown. The AC corrected itself and he charged us for a service charge and did not try to tell us he fixed something in order to charge us more. He has since been back and we will have him back again.

Very prompt, nice and knowledgeable. Came out in under an hour on a cold weekend when my heat went out. Got the heater running until Monday when he could get parts to repair the heater. He stayed in touch and repaired the heater when promised. I would definitely call him again for my HVAC needs.

It was the middle of summer, and our 16-year-old HVAC had been limping along for a couple of years. The last service call involved replacing several parts and it still had issues. Tommy's skills as a diagnostician were put to task. He was available at all times by phone and in person trying to help us save our old model. In the end a new system was needed. I have never received better customer service for any household problem than I got from Tommy and his team.

They explained my options thoroughly and scheduled a replacement unit for the following week (they could have done it the next day but my schedule had conflicts). Tommy has been amazing! He was able to come out same day, assess our air- determine we had a leak and even followed up and came back to find the leak. This helped us look at all options. We had a new system put in yesterday, 6/27/2025 and of course went with Tommy! The men who showed up were kind, friendly, and consistent. We have littles that wanted to talk, and not a single one of these workers ignored our 4 and 7 year old! They all listened and answered questions all while staying focused on the job. We purchased units in July for both our air and heat. We were very happy with the installation, professionalism, and customer service. Today (7 months later)our downstairs heater wasn't working. I called and immediately got a response and the problem fixed. Our problem had nothing to do with the units installed but was a power surge issue at our home.
